Our story: Building future leaders

I started Takeover KC Athletics because I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, compete, and grow in a positive environment. Our program is about more than winning games—we focus on developing confident, disciplined, respectful young leaders through basketball and flag football. What makes us different is our commitment to every athlete’s growth, on and off the court and field. We emphasize skill development, teamwork, accountability, leadership, and strong family involvement. Our goal is to help young athletes become successful not only in sports, but in school and in life. At Takeover KC Athletics, we’re building the next generation of leaders—one athlete at a time.

Takeover KC Athletics is committed to making a positive impact by providing young athletes with a safe, supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and succeed. We believe sports are a powerful tool to build confidence, create lifelong friendships, and keep kids engaged in positive activities. Through basketball and flag football, we teach responsibility, leadership, teamwork, and respect while encouraging families to stay involved. Our goal is to strengthen the Kansas City community by developing young leaders who make a difference both on and off the court and field.
